Global sigh of relief!

Little meditating…

Today, I am relieved, ecstatic, joyful, delighted, and kvelling to learn that all 12 boys and their soccer coach are rescued, safe and sound. The collective global sigh of relief is holding me up and getting me through the rough parts of our world. There really are heroes in the world. We need to celebrate them!

Big was dancing…
And oh, how they played…
Oh, how they play…

Hold your kinderlach (children) closer today, and every day.

Yiddish Proverb:

Troubles overcome are good to tell. Ibergekumene tsores iz gut tsu derseylin.

  1. Yes.,It is such a relief that boys are back, though sadly one diver lost life ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Your kids look lovely playing there in green ๐Ÿ™‚ It is always a delight to watch them and I always wonder about my son “How did he grow up so fast?”

  2. I was waiting anxiously, it’s totally amazing that all of the children were rescued, what heroes their rescuers are. So sad that one man didn’t make it, he knew the risks and still did his part.

    1. That is so true, Veronica. That brave diver was the first in to try and he died a hero. After that, the feeling was bleak. I was so thrilled that the rest made it out despite the odds. xoxoxo #kcacols

  6. Oh I followed this story so closely and was soooo relieved when the news finally came through that they were all safe. What an awful ordeal to have to go through, and I just kept thinking how much worse it would be if 1 or more of them didn’t make it. So I was THRILLED to hear that they were ALL out. And yes you’re right – it reminds us to hug our little ones just a little tighter and never take them for granted #blogcrush
