Today, I am relieved, ecstatic, joyful, delighted, and kvelling to learn that all 12 boys and their soccer coach are rescued, safe and sound. The collective global sigh of relief is holding me up and getting me through the rough parts of our world. There really are heroes in the world. We need to celebrate them!

Hold your kinderlach (children) closer today, and every day.

Yes.,It is such a relief that boys are back, though sadly one diver lost life π¦ Your kids look lovely playing there in green π It is always a delight to watch them and I always wonder about my son “How did he grow up so fast?”

It is a truly remarkable achievement by the collective rescue teams. I heard today that all the boys were actually heavily sedated during their journeys. It makes sense.

I was waiting anxiously, it’s totally amazing that all of the children were rescued, what heroes their rescuers are. So sad that one man didn’t make it, he knew the risks and still did his part.

It’s fantastic that they drafted in the very best to rescue them and they all survived. I am unsure whether any of the football team could swim. #TriumphantTales

They couldn’t, at all. They actually medicated those boys to get out without anxiety. This will be a movie one day. #triumphanttales xoxo

I love how the world focused it’s attention on the Thai rescue – reminded me of the Chilean miners from a few years back. It’s good to celebrate the goodness in the world.
Your daughters are beautiful!

I sat praying for good news and it truly seems like a miracle! It reminds me of the Chilean miners (way back in 2010!) and the whole world is united in fear, then relief, then fear during the rescue and then jubilation at a happy outcome. Thanks for linking up with #globalblogging

We’ve been following the rescue closely and yes, we were ecstatic when we heard that all the 12 boys were rescued and are now safe and sound. Sad though, for the heroic diver who died.

That is so true, Veronica. That brave diver was the first in to try and he died a hero. After that, the feeling was bleak. I was so thrilled that the rest made it out despite the odds. xoxoxo #kcacols

Oh I followed this story so closely and was soooo relieved when the news finally came through that they were all safe. What an awful ordeal to have to go through, and I just kept thinking how much worse it would be if 1 or more of them didn’t make it. So I was THRILLED to hear that they were ALL out. And yes you’re right – it reminds us to hug our little ones just a little tighter and never take them for granted #blogcrush
